This story explores themes of culture, food and migration through the lens of a food shop! When Idi Amin expelled Ugandan Asians in 1972, Yunas Majothi and his family took refuge in Britain. For him, the story of the family owned shop becomes a conduit to distant memories and reflections. For Bristolians, it's a conduit to distant worlds, infusing their lives with faraway tastes and delights.

Research, script development, interview, and production for a 5 minute news package featuring Grow Wilder, Avon Wildlife Trust’s community hub in Bristol. This was part of a longer programme on meadow restoration titled Neighbourhood Nature recorded at BBC Studios, Cardiff.
