I was commissioned to illustrate a map tracing the social history of water supply to the city of Liverpool as part of an interdisciplinary exhibition titled Aurora.
I used monoprinting techniques to create the different elements including the city, historical routes and the landscape and ocean scape. The technique was used as it lends a fluidity and lightness to the lines which reflects the theme of water.
